Practicum Placement for Masters Level Students
Our clinic values being able to offer reduced cost services to our community while also investing in the development of future clinicians. We welcome internship applicants to join our team to offer support to our clients while we support your learning.
Please include your CV, references and cover letter that identifies what clinical populations you prefer to work with, details on your theoretical orientation and clinical approach, and what experience you hope to gain from this internship role.
Virtual
With the ever growing list of to-do's, taking the time to come in for an appointment can become a barrier for some clients. Virtual therapy offers the opportunity to provide meaningful therapeutic services to these clients in the comfort of their own home. Internship students will have access to the online portal to conduct virtual therapy, allowing us to take students from different areas in BC.
In person
In person internships will include individual therapy hours, and group facilitation hours.
